Minor Time is the title of the new album of the trio led by pianist Savage, produced by Dodicilune and distributed by IRD. After a previous self-produced publication dedicated Thelonious Monk, the trio Zanetti, the bass player and drummer Luke Pisani Massimo Chiarella back with this album of unreleased, signed by the Venetian pianist, enriched by the presence of the saxophone Peter Toniolo. If not for the title, perhaps there would be aware, at first hearing, that the nine songs on this album are all written in minor keys. These are hidden in the relative major keys and in the ways they related, a compositional game that makes the blues less the star of this disc. Blues but substantially revised and updated "stored" in the urban structure to twelve or sixteen measures that prefers, in many songs, the relationship between the tonic and subdominant leaving the dominant secondary.
